Stainless Steel John Dory Wall Art with Paua Eye

John Dory in 316 marine grade stainless steel then coated with lacquer. Very arty fish to look at. The artist added heat to give it colour. Ground sereval different times to give it texture with extra care taken along the body to make it look like the water is flowing over/around it. Then slightly rolled to give it shape and body. All fins are bent out by hand to get that final shape bang on. The John Dory has a paua shell eye that shines and brings him to life. Each piece is hand crafted so no two pieces are ever quite the same! Great looking fish to hang on any bodies wall or as a gift to any fish art lover/fisherperson! Hook on back for simple installation. Light weight.

We have two stores, our first store was opened almost 10 years ago in Whangaparaoa, with our Milford store opening a few years later...

A large percentage of the products we sell in our stores are made and designed by us, for example our NZ Art Designs range. Owner Debbie Morgan has created this range of products using her own artwork. ALL of this range is made right here in NZ, even down to the packaging which is also made locally :)
